As far as the speech goes, my son didn’t start speaking til he was 2. The pediatrician said not to worry, boys usually take longer to speak. He had an older sister who could speak in full sentences at 18 months, and I couldn’t help but compare.

After all that, once he started speaking, he went full throttle and there were never any developmental delays.

Kids sometimes go at their own pace.

This was 23 years ago. He would have been 25 now.
